FAQ & usage tips

Q:What is a HEIC file?

HEIC (HEIF) is the iPhone's default photo format. It is about half the size of a JPG, but many Windows apps and websites cannot open it, which is why people convert it to PDF or JPG.

Q:Can I combine several photos into one PDF?

Yes. Merging is the default: one photo per page, in the order you set with the arrows. Switch to “One PDF per image” to get separate files.

Q:Does it reduce quality?

HEIC photos are converted to JPG at 92% quality before going into the PDF, which is visually lossless for most photos. JPG and PNG files are embedded as they are.

Q:Are my files uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser; files never touch a server and nothing is kept after you close the page.
